This was a living room space in the Old York Historical Showhouse. The room boasts expansive views of an estuary in the tidal tributaries of the York River. My goal was to bring the outside in. I used a subtle silvered sea green grass cloth to reflect the shimmer on the water as it ebbed and flowed. The drapes were a subtle silk tonal color-block stripe in shades of greens, blue greens to blue. The sheer roman shades had a wood trim to play up on the rich original woodwork in the antique farmhouse as well as the reeds outside.
