Craft and Cultivate is developing a comprehensive landscape design for this private residence in L.A.’s San Gabriel Valley. The principles that inspired design include, creating respite opportunities, privacy from adjacent neighbors, habitat gardens, and stormwater conveyance and capture. Features such as a cor-ten planter, wire-mesh vine screen, poured-in-place seat wall, and a hot tub highlight the landscape. The project included site analysis and inventory, conceptual master plan, section studies, schematic development, material selection, planting design, and bid assistance.
