English Garden
Client wanted a garden reminiscent of those he had admired in England and Scotland, including a waterfall, fountain, new gazebo, and formal raised beds, in a very compact space. Beds were arranged in an interlocking pattern to create a sense of space and distance, against a backdrop of tall fast-growing evergreens for privacy and a formal hedge separating the garden from the rest of the yard. Benches are located strategically and landscape lighting extends enjoyment of the garden into the evening. Plants were selected for bold 3-season blooms. These themes were later carried over to the front entry.
