When visioning our own Elsie Green office, we knew that we wanted to create a space that was welcoming to not only our clients but also to us. We believe that all spaces should be beautiful and functional and that the best results are delivered when we surround ourselves with beauty, organization and the prettiest of blues. We are so happy every day to call this our home away from home.

Because the space was merely nothing more than bare white walls, our first order of business was to to cover one full wall with an over-the-top inspiration board, filled with loads of images that are organized in sections by color. A reclaimed wood dining table serves as our desk, and is wide...

Our closet is truly the hardest working part of the room. Everything we need to run our office is stored here in clear containers so we can quickly find what we need. One of our favorite ideas was the vintage french crate that we use to sort and easily access all of our pretty ribbons.

We removed the existing closet doors and painted the wall and closet interior in Benjamin Moore's Aegean Teal. We centralized all of our storage in the closet nook and along the adjacent wall. All of the vintage containers are Elsie Green product that was purchased on one of our many buying trips...

We found this vintage postal sorting desk on a sourcing trip in France. The small cubbies, originally used for sorting mail, are perfectly sized for sorting swatches, paint decks and other supplies. It also happens to be exactly as deep as our sheets of tissue and our school paper cutter…how divine!

We were mindful of filling our office with vintage pieces that are both beautiful and secretly functional.
