Queen Anne Revival
Hidden under tacky alterations, a typical Queen Anne Foursquare was almost lost, until a pair of homeowners recognized its potential and recaptured its charm. The owners, avid travelers and antique collectors desired to create the heart of their home inclusive of the treasures that they have salvaged over the years.
We revived the interiors to its original architectural style. Expanded the kitchen area, relocated the laundry room to the basement. Reused an antique buffet into a kitchen island. Reused antique light fixtures. Transformed a wood mantel into a plate shelf. Purchased new plumbing, but in traditional styles. Reused antique light fixtures. Added millwork, corbels, etc.
