RESIDENCE ON CONN CREEK

This residence in the Napa Valley is contemporary and yet has rustic contrasting wood throughout the residence to give it a more "Rustic Modern" look. Along with the corrugated steel awnings, this design direction is a way to integrate a modern residence into an agricultural design influenced area.

RESIDENCE ON CONN CREEK
This beautiful and contemporary kitchen fits well with the more rustic quality of the wood floors, beams & posts. The stairway leads to what started as a space to pay bills in the attic. The space was redesigned to be a beautiful library room with an entire space covering Kalwall skylight.

This kitchen is extremely simple in design with texture created by Shaker style door and drawers. The Interior doors match. Stainless steel appliances always have a great look.

An Ipe wood surfaced deck is captured with board formed concrete. A steel cable and frame will be added to the wall.

The terraced entry steps will be backfilled to be built into the site and steel cable and frame will be installed. The Kalwall skylight just barely shows on the roof.

This is the cleanest stairway I've ever designed. It is required to have risers by code so plastic panels were installed.
