Sweet Green Addition and Garage Conversion
This Oregon City dormer addition expanded the home with a new primary bedroom and bathroom, a daughter’s bedroom, and a dedicated office converted from the existing garage. The goal was to create meaningful, functional space while maintaining architectural consistency with the original structure.
The primary bathroom features glossy aqua tile, a custom tiled arch, and a recessed matte black medicine cabinet that adds both function and visual contrast. A concealed door discreetly leads to a storage room, preserving clean sightlines while maximizing usability. Throughout the addition, durable wood-look flooring in a warm cedar tone creates cohesion and comfort.
The office is highlighted by a Gothic arch window that brings character and natural light into the workspace. On the exterior, we carefully matched the existing siding color to ensure the addition feels seamless and incorporated practical upgrades like an exterior faucet for long-term convenience.
The result is a thoughtful, character-rich expansion that blends craftsmanship, functionality, and architectural charm — creating space for daily life to unfold beautifully.
