The Ewing house was designed specifically for a single mother and her children. Providing the opportunity for the mother to work and be in her home while simultaneously watching over her children wherever they are was the driving factor of the design. A hub was created with different spaces branching off, allowing one to see anywhere in and outside the home when in the central area. With sustainability and energy efficiency in mind, the design evolved into the AIA award winning home that is in place today.
