Elegant Estate

Designed for a family relocating from Texas, this 6,000+ square foot Legacy Homeā„¢ reflects a shift toward privacy, space, and a deeper connection to a wooded landscape.

Surrounded by mature trees, the design creates its own sense of light and openness — balancing expansive interiors with the natural enclosure of the site. A two-story entry establishes a clear sense of arrival, while layered ceiling heights and long interior views create volume and flow throughout. Carefully placed windows pull natural light deep into the home while maintaining privacy within the trees.

Five bedrooms and four baths support both daily family life and larger gatherings. The gourmet kitchen anchors the main living spaces — designed for daily use but scaled for entertaining — while adjacent living and dining areas remain open yet defined. A continuous stair connects all levels, extending from the lower level to a finished third-floor retreat and reinforcing the home’s vertical flow.

Detail stays intentional and restrained — millwork, ceiling forms, and built-ins establish rhythm and scale without excess. Brick, stone, and cast elements wrap the home on all sides, grounding it within the landscape and giving it a sense of permanence.

The resulting home feels both expansive and sheltered — designed for how this family lives today and how it will continue to evolve over time.
