Renovation of an existing fireplace. During the demolition of an outdated marble veneer, we discovered original brick behind 70's paneling. The client decided painted brisk was better than paneling. Unable to remove the original paint on the brick, we applied a faux white wash effect using red and brown base paint and white chalk paint. The main focus of the project is an antique barn wood mantle.
