Then we decided to open a business and named it Games of Colors. Please don't think we'd used an analogy with the Games of Thrones or any other popular "games". Our name has a different origin. When you look at glass objects under the Sun, they are shining and reflecting Sun light in different directions. That is like the Sun is playing with you in a special game. We name it Game of Colors...
Now we produce various products for ourselves, for our friends and for you. We love every item crafted in our studio and hope you love them as well.

Games of Colors - Fused glass bowl "Tartan Basket", Yellow-Red - Look at this decorative Tartan Basket. Did you think it's a napkin melted in glass? No way! This bowl looks like a piece of fabric and is made of about 400 colorful glass stringers, each of 1/16 inch (1.5 mm) width. All stringers were pulled from molten glass and then crisscrossed and fused together in a kiln at about 1400F. After that I added this free-form shape which makes the bowl looking like a piece of cloth.

The surface transparency makes an illusion of lightweight "flying" body. The central part has a unique striped pattern which may differ from the shown at the pictures.
