I am a self-taught woodworker who has always had a desire and a passion for building things. I live in a small town in northwest Montana with my wife and son.
In 2011 I sold my business and started making furniture full-time. I wish I could say that I designed all of my furniture but I did not, some of the chairs and tables that I make are from plans that I purchased from Scott Morrison and some are my own, but all of my furniture is inspired by the late great Sam Maloof. I like to create simple elegant furniture made with beautiful wood, paying particular attention to the joinery and the finish. Rocking chairs, dining chairs, and tables are my specialty, but I enjoy making new and creative furniture as well.
Henneford Fine Furniture is a one man shop and therefore I am in complete control of every aspect of the furniture build from wood selection to the final coat of finish. I personally build every piece by hand. This allows me to create an extremely high-quality product that will last for generations, and that ensures that you will receive the very best quality heirloom furniture that I can build. I do not use any stains or dyes on my furniture, the color of the wood is the natural color, this means that no two pieces will ever be alike. Every piece is an original.
