Two sisters were born into the trade of interior design both on the paternal and maternal side of the family. Both Grandmothers and Mom made beautiful draperies as well as custom upholstery. Early in their careers they set out to do something different but eventually came back to what they know and love. One sister married a furniture craftsman who helped them start Pebblehill Designs & Manufacturing over 10 years ago.
The furniture frames are constructed of southern hardwoods with construction grade plywood incorporated into the design at the stress points to make racking virtually impossible. All of the main seat joints are fastened with two dowel pins, glue and screws. They are also reinforced with corner blocks. The upholstery materials are chosen with your comfort and security in mind. The seats contain three 9 gauge springs and 2-5” high density foam. Chair backs are reinforced with nylon webbing, and padded with 1 ½” foam.
