Completely overhauled this condo. We removed the tile in the front entry, the parquet flooring in the hallway, the carpet, pad, tack strips on the staircase, the door at the top of the staircase, the handrail, and balusters. We also removed the lighting and scraped the ceilings. We installed 4" LED lighting in the front entry, hallway, and staircase. We replaced the laundry room doors and moved the entry to the front bedroom and installed french interior doors. We eliminated the entry to the bathroom from the hallway, thus making it a master bathroom off the front bedroom. We installed new Prestige Alpine Oak Rustic Collection engineered hardwood flooring, white oak stair treads, stained to match the new floor, and new white oak mission style newel post, handrails, and balusters, stained to match the new flooring. Installed new baseboards and shoe molding. Painted the walls, trim, ceiling using Sherwin-Williams products. Installed new rocker style switches/receptacles and new plates.
