Gutted this kitchen to the studs! Removed the wall between the kitchen and breakfast room/living room area so as to open up the space! Eliminated the fir downs above the wall cabinets. Installed new beams where the wall was removed. Moved the washing machine to the laundry room, eliminated a window in the kitchen and moved the refrigerator to the opposite side of the kitchen! Removed the linoleum, plywood sub-floor, 2x4 screeds beneath the sub-floor and poured a new mud bed for the new floor tile. Installed new Pex water lines for the washing machine and kitchen sink and new 2" drain line for the washing machine. Installed new Milestone MoodWood 8" x 48" wood plank tile in the color of Nut in the kitchen, and used Bostik Vivid grout in the color of French Gray. Installed new electrical panel, 4" LED lighting around the perimeter of the new kitchen cabinets and in the breakfast room. Installed new 6" LED recess lighting in the center of the galley kitchen, laundry room, and in the living room. Installed new tape LED under-cabinet lighting too! Installed new electrical receptacles with USB ports in the kitchen & living room. Installed new Lutron Maestro dimmer switches to control the recess lights and new pendant lights over the sink and bar area. Installed new Atrium 3000 Series double hung vinyl replacement window above the kitchen sink and new window stool and trim. Installed new R-19 & R-13 Owens Corning insulation in the kitchen, new 1/2" sheetrock to the ceiling and walls. Installed new Kith Kitchen Cabinets with Shaker style doors and drawer fronts, pullouts in the base cabinets, under-mount full extension soft-close drawer guides, concealed hinges, and dovetail drawer box construction. Double trash pullout, spice rack, tilt out tray, cutlery insert, and pullouts in the pantry cabinet, adjustable shelves in the wall cabinets, and two stained floating shelves. Base cabinets and wall cabinets are painted Bright White; Pantry Cabinet and Refrigerator finish are painted the color of Naval. Installed new Gioia Carrara Quartz countertop by Vicostone with beveled edge profile. Installed new Elkay double bowl under-mount stainless steel sink, Brizo pull-out spray kitchen faucet in flat black finish, and used Top Knobs cabinet pulls for all doors and drawers. Installed Hinkley Pendant lights above the kitchen sink and bar area in bronze finish. Installed Soho 4" x 12" beveled backsplash tile between the wall cabinets/floating shelves and the base cabinets. Installed new GE appliances. Painted the walls, ceiling, and trim using Sherwin-Williams paint products. Installed crown molding matching the kitchen cabinets around the living room/breakfast room. We also installed new sheetrock in the ceiling of the breakfast room/living room and finished it smooth.
