Plantation Oaks Kitchen

Remodeled this 1980's kitchen, foyer, and half bathroom. We removed all of the wall cabinets, double oven cabinet, and base cabinets on the refrigerator side of the kitchen. The other base cabinets received new cabinet doors, raised end and back panels, drawers, and drawer fronts with new soft close hardware and pulls. We eliminated the trash compactor and the small cabinet to the left of the sink and converted this area to a wide drawer stack. With a new 42" wide refrigerator, we installed a new large spice rack cabinet, installed a new beverage cooler, and new desk. We removed the soffit/bulkhead above the wall cabinets and installed new 54" tall wall cabinets with a new microwave location to the left of the new double oven cabinet. All wall cabinets have adjustable shelves supported by steel shelf pins. We sanded the existing base cabinets down to raw wood and applied new stain. The new cabinets, doors, and drawer fronts are stained oak. The traditional doors are raised panel style. The lower cabinets received new pullout drawers. The island cabinet received new double pullout trash bins and we converted one drawer to the right of the cook-top to a warming drawer. We removed the pendant lights above the island, recess lights above the peninsula, and installed new LED lights. The old recess lights were retro-fitted with new LED trim kits. We installed new LED tape under-cabinet lighting with dimmer switch and remote. Installed glass back-splash tile laid in a 1/3- 2/3 pattern. We installed new adult height vanity with quartz counter-top, porcelain under-mount sink, and new Delta faucet. Installed new mirror and LED light above the vanity. Installed a new fan in the half bathroom. Removed the old tile floor in the foyer, staircase landing, kitchen, breakfast room, half bathroom, and laundry room. We installed new 24" x 24" Italian porcelain tile floor with and 1/8" grout joint. We painted the kitchen walls, ceiling, and all trim using Sherwin-Williams paint products. We installed new door hardware and hinges. We installed new receptacles/switches and decorative plates. Installed new stainless steel Kitchen Aid brand appliances. It was a pleasure working with these customers on this major renovation. I hope they enjoy their new renovation for years to come! Thank you!
