52. This beach house in Cornwall, England, designed by Wickenden Hutley has a living room fireplace with multihued tiles on the surround.
53. Mahoney Architects & Interiors repurposed this brick fireplace but painted the surround and added a new mantel.

Just finished our linear fireplace.
For this contemporary house we designed a large wall with three dimensional ledger stone and an adjacent bookcase with backlit floating shelves. We used an electric fireplace due to venting limitations.
