If you want a designer who is not afraid to steer you in the right direction, and explain options, telling if what you thought you wanted will work, and if so why, and if not, why, he’s the man for you. He’s the one for me. So knowledgeable and helpful.

Gary is the consummate professional. With a keen eye for design he was beyond helpful when choosing just the right window treatments for my sunroom. I am sure I will be calling upon him in the future!!!

When I requested a visit from a Smith and Noble representative I had no idea who would arrive at my condo to help choose some window treatments. I was immediately reassured when Gary walked in. He had been stuck in traffic and had called promptly at our appointment time to see if a slight delay would be a problem, which was both polite and professional. He listened to what I had planned and made suggestions for other options which were more affordable and practical than what I thought I wanted. I never felt rushed and Gary never tried to "upsell" me. Ultimately we decided on treatments for two large windows. He kept me informed of delivery status and the products arrived in good time. I had planned to have a friend do the installation and Gary generously offered to be available to provide help if that should be necessary. The installation is complete (no help was needed) and I am extremely happy with the results. In addition to feeling comfortable with his professional expertise, it was a delight to spend time with such a charming gentleman.

Gary has been a pleasure to work with. He is patient, helpful, creative, full of ideas, extremely reliable, and sets a very high standard for the result of his work . I have relied on him for ideas and solutions, and to get the job done in a timely manner as promised and to the highest standards. In addition to all of the above, he has gone to great lengths to save me money where possible and without any decrease in quality. I am pleased to recommend him highly.

Gary was very accommodating-we live out in the boonies. His suggestions were excellent and we are very happy with the several shades we purchased. It was not Gary's fault but the installer forgot the securing devices for our honeycomb shades, but Gary was attentive and got us a $60 refund on our payment to the installer later on.

Gary was very professional in helping with selecting window treatments in 3 different rooms—an office, a bedroom, and a bathroom. I dithered a bit but he was patient and made a return trip with samples to move things along. The order is in and we are looking forward to the installation. If the installation goes smoothly, I would say that Gary and Smith & Noble are a great team.

Gary was a true professional and assisted with the selection of shades for my home both roller and roman. I was never rushed and he took the time to explain and offer his interior design advice. Gary was absolutely amazing. He helped me pull together all of the rooms in our house, updating them for our daughters wedding. Window treatments was the focus but, he helped me pull together each room with suggestions that were practical. His color,design and ideas with space were spot on. Gary was fantastic! He was very helpful in picking out shades for my first home. I knew nothing about shades and Gary was patient and informative with all my many questions! He also came back to our home to double check the measurement on something to make sure it was perfect. He is friendly, personable and kind. I HIGHLY recommend him for any of your window needs!
