Cole Borders, founder of Patent Prints, recreates the original patent drawings from a myriad of inventions. From household items and toys to machines and gadgets, these creations are technical yet refined and even playful. Cole was first inspired by a patent drawing of a duck call, it was interesting and artful. Intrigued by schematics and blueprints, he loved the idea that most products start with a hand drawing. So he began producing patent art prints that make distinctive pieces with an educational flare.
