We used Corecraft through 2022/2023 for our new house build. I found them quite thorough and professional through the process which made our dream home build (which occurred through the pandemic and the high inflation times) as seamless as possible.

We trusted Corecraft Construction to build our family home. We are proud to be providing this review for a company that excels at good quality construction, industry relationships and continual homeowner satisfaction. My husband and I began the build process 2 years ago, in November 2021. We initiated the design phase prior to selecting our builder. Once we had a draft of what we wanted to build, we approached several reputable builders who were building in the Tricities area, interviewed and reviewed their references. We carefully selected Corecraft construction for several reasons: Corey's professionalism jived with ours, he was able to answer questions with great detail to help us understand the issues at hand, he knew the Tricities building codes well, his references felt confident with his budgeting, and the quality of the homes we saw that he built were at par with the quality we wanted for our own family home. Involving Corecraft as we finalized our permit drawings was valuable as Corey was able to weigh in on decisions from a builder's perspective. Corey is the head of an incredible tight crew of skilled and hardworking team members. Corey's leadership within the Corecraft team is stellar, respected and the necessary guiding force that will forge their success as they continue in this industry. Corey was thorough, responsive and open to discussion throughout the build duration. Corecraft's approach to the remuneration process during the build was transparent. Their scheduling during a pandemic was impressive speaking to their organization and communication as a team. This was further facilitated by our weekly onsite and virtual meetings, alongside the Corecraft online scheduling portal which outlined when our decisions needed to be made. Given supply chain issues during the pandemic, we were advised to make decisions sooner than usual or choices with shorter lead times, guidance which proved imperative to continue on schedule. In addition, maintaining the schedule timeline was facilitated due to the loyalty and trust Corecraft has with their various trades to get the job done and done well. Now living in our home built by Corecraft Construction we have a sense of confidence and trust in the final product. We have experienced their post occupancy responsiveness and reassurance. We are grateful that we are able to provide this review for a company who, we believe, is exemplary in the home building industry.

If you look above, I bought the Laurentian home. My wife is an interior designer and she had high expectations and standards for what she wanted to buy. When we saw this house, we were extremely impressed. The workmanship was fantastic and we were extremely happy with the finishes and detail. We proceeded to look at other homes, but we compared everything else to that house. At the two year mark, we had our deficiency list, and Corey and his team took care of them. For the record, it was a very small, minor list. He has also taken care of a few other small issues as well. He and his company have 100% stood by their work and have taken care of anything they could. I have also reached out to him with some homeowner questions, and he has been very helpful with answering them and giving his opinions. We installed central air just over a year ago, and the installers made an error and tried to wash their hands of it. Corey went to bat for us and got on the phone with them. That alone saved us hundreds, and most likely, a few thousand dollars. If we plan to build a home down the road, we would not hesitate to use Corecraft. They are a young company with a lot of experience, and, from what I can tell, they are only getting better and better.

With out a doubt the most important part of our successful renovation was the time and effort put into the exterior cladding, windows front door and soffits; all done to the highest of standards by Corecraft construction. Fantastic communication, and a commitment to doing good work in a timely fashion meant we had a great outcome despite facing the unpredictable challenges of a 1990s home renovation. Corey and his team picked out issues and presented solutions. They gave us what we asked for, and made suggestions that we hadn’t thought of which look great and function beautifully. We love the way people walk by and tell us how amazing the house looks from the road. It really is striking; thanks guys!

I have worked with Corey on some large custom home projects. We provided low voltage installations for the homes including security, cameras, distributed audio, vacuum systems.
