Microstudio is a brand of self-made design that was created in 2011 to distribute the items designed by the architectural and design firm Microstudio composed by architects Fabrizio Susi, Caludio Pierfederici and Stefania Rendine. Bringing to market design objects totally made in Italy was the concept behind the collaboration between three friends and colleagues who for years have been working alongside with companies and craftsmen of Abruzzo and Marche Regions to realise their ideas. Microstudio over time has configured itself as a real collector able to connect local realities that had never grappled, before now, with the realization of design products that totally combine the project and enable the development of new products by challenging their knowledge and experimenting new work techniques. Thus each Microstudio product becomes an expression of the synthesis of the original idea, the traditional techniques and the ability to use the available technologies in an alternative way. Through the use of materials such as steel, wood and Plexiglas Microstudio has created a line of objects, of furnishing accessories and Christmas decorations. The current configuration of Microstudio allows flexibility in production and especially enables to take care of the entire construction phase of a single object from the design, through the choice of materials and the most appropriate work technique up to the prototyping and production. Further to the self-production activity, Microstudio designs for third parties, among the most important assignments the one received from Ray Ban for designing and realising an exclusive gadget given at a party held in New York in the occasion of their new collection presentation.
