I worked with Omar on a complete renovation of an old (1978) condo bathroom and repainting the bedroom. I received quotes and ideas from multiple contractors, and Greystar came in at a fair price, and a friend referred him, noting many of his coworkers use Greystar for small and massive projects alike. After the bathroom was gutted, they determined that the walls needed to be reframed, which of course extended the project timeline. I was able to purchase the tile, tub, vanity, and fixtures on my own to save time/money and so I could have exactly what I wanted. I went to showrooms to get ideas and find the exact same products online for substantial discounts. The designer vanity in the showroom was more than $1,000 than the exact same vanity I found elsewhere. Omar assisted with picking of paint colors. Because the project extended beyond the original timeline, completing the project seemed to compete with other scheduled projects, but this was probably to be expected. With new carpet I bought from Carpet Giant, my bedroom and bathroom went from vanilla/drab to chic and get many compliments. FYI, there are many higher end items you can order online from the "big box" retailers that you would likely never find in the stores. That high-end vanity and toilet I saw in the showroom was on sale online at Home Depot at a fraction of the price. Omar also suggested Build.com, where I bought fixtures, tub, etc. Omar is a perfectionist, so if you have a project and some time to "get it right," they are a great firm to do business with. Also, Jose, who oversaw and did a lot of the work, was great and seemed excited about the work we were doing.
