Phal. lueddemanniana var. purpurea ('Fernbrook' x self)
The mother plant (with 2 basal keikis) kept putting out keiki after keiki, up to about 5 generations of them now. Looks more like a keiki bush than a phal! I popped two of the larger keikis off and put them in a small semi-hydro pot. They each put out 2 spikes with 1 keiki on each of the spikes, and one of the spikes managed a bloom. The mother plant is still producing babies by the score, but not a single bud on it yet.
Flower is 1.75" wide and it does have a very light scent.
From Orchids Limited.
