He was easy to talk to, was careful to explain the process to us and very encouraging. They were very respectful of our home, meticulously keeping the mess contained as much as possible. The professional manner they demonstrated was reassuring as I was home alone with them most often. The craftsmanship is spectacular, I was blown away with how they executed my vision and were able to troubleshoot a few unexpected delays. “We have a high porch with pillars as you would see in the old southern homes yet there was never any railing around it which was very much needed for safety reasons. We hired Mr. Bales' company to put the railing up. It is perfect and looks so nice. We also had a water problem in our lower level laundry area. When the home was built, the walls were not properly finished so as to prevent ground water from seeping in anytime there was a heavy rainfall. The construction crew tore out part of the wall, waterproofed the entire area and put up new wall. At the same time, our hot water unit was in that room and they moved it to the corner of our garage and rebuilt wall and ceiling that was clumsily done in the building of the house. We also had them to put in new banister from upper to lower level. This company performed these jobs with extreme professionalism. The completed projects are proof of each worker's knowledge and experience in different areas of construction. I am sure that the men who work for Mr. Bales would attest to the great leadership and experience they have received from him on the job. They came in, got the jobs done, painted and cleaned up. We are totally satisfied with all that we had done and always call Bales when we have any project we are interested in doing.”
