Hi Kerry, Sorry you must of flew under my radar. The backsplash is ledger stone and the counter top is granite. I like to select the ledger stone first as it has the most character. Then I select a granite slab that plays to the colors of the ledger stone, but in a more subtle fashion, as I want the ledger stone to have the superior visual destination.
