I like the combo. on the left better. On the right, the dark tile appears a little less gray than the veining in the light tile.

I like the look of the darker tile better but both are very pretty. My husband's bathroom has dark wood-look porcelain tile. It's not as dark as your darkest choice. It needs either vacuumed or dry dusted every day because it shows everything. What does the wall tile on the left look like with the floor tile on the right?

I like the combo on the left. It has a warmer look to it.

Just be warned that dark tile will show everything like dust, hair, and water spots! But I like the combo on the left.

Thanks for all the suggestions. The one on left seems to be the favorite, which was mine too, but didn't know if it was too dark and other challenges with Dark tile. The one on left photographs darker than when you see in person.

Like left.. but I am currently obsessed with blacks and whites.

Dark. Grey is phasing out as a trend currently.

left is preferred but you gotta like daily cleaning or else leave your glasses off in the bathroom. so much skin, so much hair, so many water spots. been there, moved away from that decision. : )

Add towel lint, toenail clippings, callous shavings, the dust that gets sucked into the room when you run the exhaust... And all the stuff that goes airborne when you dust, sweep, vacuum is back 15 minutes after you clean. Add the little fibers and dust that gets tracked in from other rooms. That & the dark tile will suck light out of room that you need to be well lit.
