A Surya rug pad is highly recommended for added stability and comfort (sold separately). For best performance, rotate your rug every 3-6 months. Style your home with this beautiful Surya area rug and elevate your decor!
**Important Care Instructions:
- Spot clean only.
- Due to the natural fiber blend of this rug, some shedding is normal. Regular vacuuming will help to curtail shedding sooner. *Important: Vacuum without beater bar on the lowest suction setting. If vacuum beater bar cannot be turned off, vacuum at the highest possible height adjustment.
- Spot clean with water only. A small amount of dish soap mixed with cold water for spot cleaning will help remove stains.
- This rug is not outdoor safe.
- Professional cleaning is recommended.
- Sprouts: sprouting is considered normal as part of the break-in process. Never pull on sprouts. Instead, use scissors to carefully trim the sprouting yarn even with the pile (where applicable).
- Odor: dyes, yarns and backing and packing material all have natural odors that are sometimes magnified after being sealed for shipping and storage. Odors, if present, should dissipate within a week once the rug is removed from the packaging.
- Fading: The colors in your rug may fade over time. Direct sunlight may expedite fading. Rotating your rug every 3-6 months will distribute any fading more evenly. Jute and Wool will fade the fastest.
