What flooring looks best with cedar plank walls?

We bought a 70’s style house complete with sunken living room, cedar plank walls and red brick fireplace. I hate carpet (with 3cats and a dog) was thinking of luxury vinyl tile...but I’m stuck on what color/style would compliment both the cedar and the fireplace. I love them both and would prefer not to paint either one.
The picture shows the cedar plank lines run at an angle so im looking for flooring that wouldn’t add more lines and make me dizzy? The rest of the house I’m using grey tones for more of a modern look so trying not to use anything with yellow tones otherwise might be too much old cabin vibe.
All ideas are welcome! Appreciate your input...
