Houzz Launches Selections in Houzz Pro
The tool gives designers a visual workspace to create, share and discuss design concepts with team members and clients
Houzz has introduced Selections for Houzz Pro, the all-in-one business management and marketing software for interior design and remodeling professionals. Selections gives designers a highly visual, collaborative workspace where they can create, discuss and share multiple design concepts internally with their team and externally with clients. Houzz Pro Selections, previously known as Room Planner, is available to all interior designers who subscribe to Houzz Pro in the U.S.
One Visual Space for Concepts, Presentations, Proposals and Invoices
Houzz Pro Selections provides designers with a canvas to bring together all the elements for a room plan in a single visual space. Designers can lay out all the products and services available for a room in a collaborative environment between internal teams and clients. In this visual workspace, designers can present design concepts, share comments, set budgets and finalize decisions.
Selections is fully integrated into Houzz Pro, making it easy for designers to move from concept and client approvals to proposals and invoices.

Create Multiple Room Plans With Mood Boards, Photos, Products and Pricing
Within Selections, designers can create design concepts, using all relevant Houzz Pro features, in a single canvas. They can pull in mood boards, lifestyle photos, 3D floor plans, clipped or uploaded products from their product library and associated information like pricing and dimensions. Items added to a room plan are automatically added to the project tracker.
Designers can create multiple room plans for projects of any scope, for one room or many, and enable clients to choose the direction, or specific products, they prefer, making it easier to include different options within a budget.

Set a Budget, Communicate With Clients and Secure Approvals
Designers can set a budget for a space and see how individual products impact it using the Budget Snapshot feature. The tool enables designers and their team to add internal or client-facing notes on individual items within the room plan, to help speed up the approval process.
When ready, designers can share a room plan with their clients from which the client can add comments and approve or decline products. Designers can customize the shared view for impact by choosing small, medium or large formats to display each element. They can also set a cover image, hide or include the budget tool and download tear sheets.
Room plans can be added to the Houzz Pro client dashboard, including multiple room plans for projects with one or more rooms. Once a concept is approved, designers can convert the plan into a proposal or invoice.
