I am wondering about using a circular motion to wipe down stainless. We were told by the company to wipe our appliances in a side to side motion to follow the "grain."
I would like to know others' thoughts on this.

I use a combination. Typically, I will clean in mostly circular motion. When I go to buff, I use more with the grain motion to remove any streaking. Recently, I found microfiber cloths specifically for stainless and I have been surprised how well they work. Takes half the effort. I believe they were from Containers and More
