He returns calls on time, texts daily, and his pricing and work contract are very transparent We originally needed a window replaced, but the project morphed into a much larger project because of carpenter ants. He ended up having to replace all the shingling on one side of our house. Dave was very honest and clear on how the project escalated, what new costs were and gave us different options for budget and solutions. He encouraged us to go with a bit higher quality in materials, and we are really thankful we did the job right. It was late January and he and his fellow builder showed up in 10 degree weather for a week. His coworker was a pleasure to chat with every day, With 3 children at home, it’s important to feel comfortable with workers and I fully trust Dave and his Team. He always was meticulous with clean up. My one suggestion would be to understand his payment plan. We gave him a down payment and then wrote fairly substantial checks weekly. I felt like I was not always prepared with money in the bank to cover that week’s installments. I would prefer one deposit down and final payment at end but this was our only issue. His knowledge and expertise were worth it,! We were very pleased with the end result and quality of work and highly recommend him!”

“We have used Carlos previously at our old house and he did a great job as we redid both bathrooms and installed new cabinets . His best quality is that he shows up EVERY day and is super detailed and responsive. His work is top notch and is very considerate by always cleaning up and taking his shoes off. He just refinished our basement in our new house and it looks amazing. Carlos is great at what he does but he is a better person. I cannot recommend him enough. I’m looking for more jobs so I can work with him again.”

“I can't say enough positive things about working with BearWorks and Derek. If I could give him 10 stars I would. I was in the middle of a bathroom renovation that went very very bad. Derek came and looked at the damage that had been done and what work still needed to be completed and walked me through his process. He listened to my concerns, pointed out flaws in workmanship that I hadn't noticed and pulled together a comprehensive scope list, quote and timeline. He was professional and treated my home with respect, covering and protecting surfaces. He kept the work area clean and tidy. I knew exactly what was spent on each aspect of the job. My house is from the late 1800's and the first contractor threw out all the original woodwork. Derek went out of his way to find matching trim and rosettes to maintain the look. I also had a corner gas fireplace unit installed and vented out the side of my house. The finished product looks as if it is original to the house. The woodwork and mantel are pristine. Coming into a job that was a complete disaster created by someone else is challenging for anyone and Derek didn't hesitate. The finished bathroom is beautiful as is the fireplace. I highly recommend BearWorks Contruction for your project, big or small. I am planning to use them again.”
