“I hired this designer after interviewing about 5 others. She was recommended to me by someone after I said I was looking for a designer who was creative and did not want my backyard looking like everyone else's. I wanted a sophisticated design with attention to detail with a Zen feeling. The entire experience was wonderful. I was very involved in the process and it was fun and exciting working with Tessa Goss. She immediately understood what I wanted and completed the project in a timely manner. The job included a pool, two water features, spa, fireplace, two concrete benches, rear yard landscape, lighting, patio cover and concrete courtyard. The pool is 44' x 14', the spa is 8' x 8'. I highly recommend using this designer if you want something unique. I am delighted every day when I am in my yard and so pleased with the outcome.”

“Al’s Construction & Landscape provides our HOA both weekly grounds service and has performed many construction projects for us. Al’s Attention to detail on our landscaping is great and our complex receives many comments about how good our grounds look. Services are also affordable. Al’s has also done metal work for us (entry gates & trash enclosure), masonry repair, etc. all work has always been done to extremely high standards at fair reasonable rates. I highly recommend Al, without reservation.”

“I hired Pat to build a rock wall and dry creek in my back yard. He and his crew did excellent work! Pat communicated well and answered all my questions ahead of time. He made sure everything was exactly as I wanted along the way. He was easy to work with, did all the work as specified, and left my yard clean. I highly recommend TLC for any of your projects. “Who knew that 60 yards of exposed sand finish, reinforced concrete could have an artistic flair. Carlos, the guy in charge of setting the rebar and finishing the concrete, installed a number of extra expansion lines in the slab as it was finished which resulted in a very nice-looking parking area at the top of our driveway which included a short, block wall along 2 sides. O & R Landscaping should be your choice if you want your driveway/parking area done right (5.5 inches of extra strength concrete placed with 3/8” rebar on 24” centers over 2” of compacted base. Rebar doweled into the edge of driveway coming up the slope and into front edge of garage floor slab.) O and R also did several other projects for us: installed a paver seating area by entry door; installed an RV parking area with compacted, decomposed granite; salvaged the 1”x12” dog ear cedar boards on over 200’ of fence and replaced the 4x4 fenceposts with pressure treated ones set in concrete along with new horizontal 2x4’s to screw the salvaged boards to; stained the rebuilt fence; replaced two 5’ concrete block walls; arranged for all of the wrought iron gates to be removed, touched up as needed, powder coated with textured powder coat; installed our new mail box with pedestal on a new concrete base; oiled all of the redwood siding on the house; and, to tie all of this together, installed gorilla hair around the plants/trees in the extensive planting areas around the house and down by the street. Our thanks to Roger and the artisans at O and R Landscaping – O and R ( Roger, Ricardo, job foreman Guillermo “Memo”, Bobby, Caesar, Gabriel), Concrete (Carlos (rebar placement, low block wall, finishing and paver area), Fabian, Andres, Alex, Alex’s brother Edward, Joel; Fencing (Rogelio - Roger’s father in law); Gates (Javier and Jose); Concrete Pumper (Jose), Concrete Finishing (Danny (lead finisher), David, Osvaldo, Uber, Alfredo, Alberto, Jose, Magdelano, Juan), Redwood Siding Oiling (Roger’s Uncle Ruben).”
