Linda Sue has been a slow grower for me, but the margins get wider with age and she is starting to look good. Sara was new last fall and got severely frost damaged this spring so I can't tell you much, but she is hanging in there. I think Linda Sue is heavier substance and darker

How long have you been growing 'Linda Sue'? LS was an impulse buy late last summer. She's a sport of 'Frances Williams', which is not supposed to be prone to dessication burn. I have mine planted in morning light and expect her to grow well here. I was hosta shopping on Wednesday and was tempted to buy 'Sara's Sensation" but resisted having bought several others.

I actually lost both Linda Sue and Sara's Sensation this spring. I only have so much money and can't afford to replace ALL the hostas I lost so I am trying to cherry pick which ones to replace first. I remember someone saying something about one being better than the other or something.

Time Tunnel is another similar one but it suffers from spring burn.
