Nope. Too much bother when I have a lot of pots. It looks kinda stupid too. And when it corrodes with watering and time, the slugs just go right over it. Sluggo works for me. Put your pots on something to raise them from the surface, and put a little of Sluggo under the pot to lure the critters where they will eat it and leave to die elsewhere. You won't see snail shells, but you know you are successful because there will be NO snail/slug damage (or slime marks up the pots. ) That is a GOOD thing.

I actually tried a double ring of pennies. I super glued two stacks of pennies in about a 12 inch circle. I don't know if it worked for a short while or not but it fell apart after a few weeks. Only cost me maybe a buck...lol

I’m with Babka, I use a vinegar drench ( 1 gallon water, 2 cups vinegar or ammonia) for slugs twice a year, spring—-to kill what’s there and fall to kill any eggs laid to hatch in spring. This year I also did sluggo plus because I had such bad cutworm damage last year. So far so good….. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
