We have SS Jenn-Air side by side and DCS cooktop and oven, Sharp MW drawer. The fridge and cooktop/oven are on different walls but near each other. The MW is in the island and near the cooktop/oven. (The DW and WD are panelled). In choosing the appliances my only concern was that the oven handle had the same "look" as the fridge (pro style handles). I was not concerned about the finishes and have not noticed that there are any differences. I was more concerned about choosing the cooktop/oven for the performance. Also, we got a good deal on the Jenn-Air fridge because the model was discontinued. The appliances are in use now approx 4 months and we are happy with all choices.

Pick what you like, as long as they are all SS (and not one of those steel-like surfaces) they will be fine, especially on opposite sides of the room. My range, backsplash, and hood from 3 difference sources run in a vertical line from floor to ceiling and they blend fine. On the other hand, my Bosch refrigerator and dishwasher are not exactly the same finish in spite of being the same brand. They are separated by an island and I never gave it a thought.

It's very hard to match all appliances but easy to coordinate. Most SS finishes are all the same or similar. Visually verify each choice.

So it sounds like getting the appliance I want regardless of much more than a stainless finish should be relatively okay...perhaps keeping an eye on the "handles". Glad to have the input from all of you:)

Yes, I agree with everyone else. Don't worry about matching them, even the handles. I would be much more concerned with finding each individual appliance based on performance and meeting your budget.

One thing to match are your wall ovens if they are stacked, i.e. Microwave, Wall Oven, & Warming Drawer

I find that it is more of matching the color and material of the appliances rather than matching the same brand, though getting all under one brand as a package could sometimes bring your more discounts.
