Full StoryTne Kansas City Star is looking for Mrs. Flick's Oatmeal Cookie Recipe. The Flick Bakery was open from 1926 - 1970 in KC. Her oatmeal cookies were sent to soldiers during WW II. It was a soft, chewy & 3" wide cookie. I understand they broke some of them up purposely & sold them for 15 cents a lb.
Thanks.
