Coffee table dilemma
We are working on our new living room and would love your thoughts and ideas on:
- are these coffe tables suitable for this living room (we had them in our previous appartment)
- would you keep this wood tone or prefer a different treatment
- would you place the tables as in layout A or B?

PRO5 years agoI don't like the color. they really don't work. I'd paint them a deep navy, or a creamy white.
I like set up B, but find a console to put against the wall near window, and your stools underneath,,,like so:
do you have a nice piece of art for the fireplace?
this is the color wood you need. I love this entire set-up with your decor.

PRO5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoYou'd have to either refinish the tables or change out the chairs. The sofas and tables are contemporary and the chairs , rug and mantel are more traditional.
The mass of the tables is too great for your area. Might be helpful if you could place the tables at right angles to one another.
PRO5 years agolast modified: 5 years agoI like your nesting coffee tables on A pic. And color works great with gray and blue too. You need just bring some the same color accents .

- PRO5 years agoYou could do blue, off white or a brown stain. The off white might be too bold.
These finishes could work.
