Hi, this is a great article for folks that have more traditional home styles in their region... I have a southern California, 20. miles or so inland, half of a paired home and am looking to paint. I would like to do something kind of edgy (I had envisioned shades of green or grey and my red or burnt Orange front door), buy my neighbor/pair is more interested in matching the neighborhood and resale value; i.e.. beige on beige. Blech. Suggestions? Thank you.
