Thank you for your question. Landscape design exists as you know in four dimensions. The fourth dimension being the element of time. There is always change.

In this Brooklyn NYC garden there is the option of replacing with same or different elements within the gabions. The face of each container can be easily removed for access within.

Thanks for your interest in this project. I am not clear what you are asking is mounted to the metal. But,.. perhaps offering the following info might be helpful. The wood rounds are not mounted, just placed within the gabions. The gabions themselves are stabilized by vertical posts sunk into the ground. While there are many suppliers for this, you may find it helpful to check out this terrific supplier, https://gabionsupply.com (which is the one I sourced for this job) as they offer much information on installation and they are incredibly helpful. Hope this helps!

LOL. Yes, they most definitely are battery operated. In fact they work on a remote. Think they were sourced from Pottery Barn or Restoration Hardware.

Rock and concrete aren’t the only options for fill. You can recycle a fallen tree by using the stacked cut rounds.Design tip: Leave spaces in the wall for holding candles or other small items. (And, of course, don’t leave burning candles unattended.)

Hmm, I don't think candles and wood are a good proximital combination.
