what material did you use to build around the wood burning stove? I'm interested in doing the same with my Victorian home

Hi there, the flooring is the original floor planks with a slight white wash. The product was sourced from our client so unfortunately do not have that information :)

It looks like this company outsourced all the hardscape materials and is just showcasing the furniture and accessories. But we're on it Lisa!

Have your fireplace ready and waiting. If you have a working fireplace or wood stove, stock up and get ready with everything you need to light a fire at a moment’s notice. Chop and stack wood, prepare kindling and get your tools in order. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to have your chimney professionally cleaned. Knowing everything is ready to go may nudge you into having a cozy fire more often.Find chimney cleaners in your area

3. Install a wood-burning stove. This is a popular way to rocket a Victorian living room straight into the 21st century. While it’s considered sacrilegious to rip out an original fireplace, we might not all relish the idea of an open, roaring fire to tend to and clean up after day after day (and the heat wastage can be excessive). Instead, keep the traditional surround and call in the professionals to install a wood-burning stove. It requires easy maintenance and offers maximum heat efficiency, as well as adds a contemporary touch to a period space.
