I have a disturbed site and want to replant the native grass, 'Little Bluestem'. I have an existing meadow of this grass, but am replacing it where there is now just a 7" or so thick layer of construction sand. How difficult is it to plant by seed? I heard it takes months to germinate. Also, how would I be sure to get the right loam to satisfy its requirements? Much thanks for your thoughts.
