Staging a home to sell can help get the best price! Stage homes can also be a great source of design ideas. As a designer, it's fun to get called into to assist in the process. Staging can mean placement of furniture, but it's also about giving guidance and direction to the homeowner on steps they can take on the exterior of their home. Getting the house ready for sale is not just about filling it with furniture, but about creating that perfect curb appeal. Something buyers can look at and feel they can move right in!

The straight lines and stacked drawers in this entertainment center, coffee table and sofa table echo the dramatic window. The maple cabinetry also creates streamlined storage in this city great room.

A clinic in downsizing, this condo is filled with pieces and art that were carefully selected, sentimental and one of a kind. The renovation was intended to stand the test of time, functionally and aesthetically. Having relocated from a much larger property, the client wanted a space that resonated with the urban beauty of Portland's West End. Photos by Erin Little.

The project idea was to redesign a part of the garage into Airbnb Studio in Coastal style. Then select all the furniture for this. The studio is implementing now.

Although it may seem counter intuitive to have moved the entire living room furniture arrangement on an angle, it feels like a more intimate and conversational. A few new pillows, jonathan alder zebra rug & new floor lamp brightened & updated the traditional Ethan Allen furniture.

This young married couple enlisted our help to update their recently purchased condo into a brighter, open space that reflected their taste. They traveled to Copenhagen at the onset of their trip, and that trip largely influenced the design direction of their home, from the herringbone floors to the Copenhagen-based kitchen cabinetry. We blended their love of European interiors with their Asian heritage and created a soft, minimalist, cozy interior with an emphasis on clean lines and muted palettes.
