    Green Mountain Custom Butcher Block
We build custom counter tops and you can certainly cut on wood counter tops if it is finished with a natural oil. Of course, there will be knife marks but that is part of the patina the top will take on over time. If you want a waterproof protection and no maintenance, we offer a SatinSeal finish that is highly durable but it is not recommended for cutting on. As far as putting hot pans on a wood surface, it is not recommended. We recommend using some kind of pad or trivet.

Wow, this is a beautiful kitchen! I love the textures! I, too, am wondering about the island counter, but can't find your prior answer. Can you tell me more?

The industry name is called "white" glass its a laminated glass with a translucent interior layer, this makes is very easy to clean. Etched glass shows fingerprints and is hard to keep clean because of the rough surface.

It is a custom door and any local millwork or building supply has companies that will make it for you.

Green Ground 206 by Farrow and Ball Please note that this is a digital representation so please get a small amount of paint and try it in several areas. Orientation, wall material, and amount of daylight can affect color perception greatly.

It is 6" "v" groove polar painted with a semi-gloss. The ceiling did received a spray finish for it to appear very smooth after sanding.

Like the white cab with wood tone mix and slate color counter. Not crazy about backsplash. Also, planning to stain the inside of our windows like the one in this pic.
