Can't say enough about how pleased we are about having our 1950 Wedgwood 6 burner/double oven repaired by Winslow from Antique Stove Haven. He came to our home on a service call for burner troubles, Oven Door not closing properly, Oven temperature not accurate, and a gas smell in one of the ovens. He knew immediately (less than 5 sec.) where the gas smell was coming from and changed the aluminum gas line going to the oven burner. The oven door was readjusted to close properly and all the burners were adjusted (stove top & Oven) to the correct flame height and now work perfectly. He reset the oven temp. to match the dial and asked if temp of the ovens when "off" was high 150-175 deg. (because of the pilot lights in each oven), Yes-has been since day one. Was Fixable by updating with" mini-pilots lights" in the ovens-what a difference, now less than 100 deg Excellent service and knowledge of old stoves at a reasonable price. You Can't buy the quality like these old vintage Stoves any more and it's nice to have ours like new again.

We had a Thermador oven in a beautiful built-in case in our 1959 home. When the switch broke, I looked all over Los Angeles for a replacement but couldn't find one. Everyone told me I needed a new oven but they no longer come in that size so that would mean destroying the beautiful kitchen. Winsor was able to rebuild the original thermostat and return the stove to mint condition at a very reasonable price, far less than the cost of replacing the stove, and he saved our kitchen in the process. I needed a natural gas to propane conversion kit for an antique stove and they sent the correct one. A new lens for my 50's Western-Holly wall oven clock?……..they got it.
