I want to really love this new column refrigerator but I am so skeptical. My island dual fuel range has been a bit of a disappointment. The convection works great, but whoever I use the self-clean, the electronic board goes out!! I love gas burners, but only one of these simmers. None of the others go low. Like what! Then there’s the painted finish sections that peel off when mildly cleaned. You’ve got to be kidding.
The fridge ice maker quit working early on and the freezer rack broke quickly too. We have up on the dishwasher and just replaced it.
Now you’d think I’m talking about appliances getting a workout with a big active family with a bunch of kids, but nope - we’re just a senior couple that don’t even cook as much anymore.
Downsizing to a new house now and this brand of appliances is not even on our radar.

It’s such a frustrating experience to have three kitchen appliances with JennAir. The builder of our new home purchased the range, microwave and refrigerator from JennAir. All of the three appliances are broken within one year after we purchased the newly built house. We had to schedule so many appointments to get the stove and microwave finally working. Now the refrigerator stopped cooling out of sudden. I have a loaded refrigerator that all the food getting spoiled. I called this morning to schedule the appointment for tomorrow and I was told the technician will contact me later. Then I got the message that they cannot come tomorrow and only can come the day after. I am so disappointed with the quality of the appliances and the service. It made my life miserable. I will definitely recommend my friends, families and colleagues not to choose anything from JennAir.

My husband bought a Jennair online used and when it didn't work he was told by the company the previous owners had signed a contract to have it destroyed because the motherboard was defective. Yes, we understand buyer beware. My husband reached out to the company and was told first that there was nothing the company could do but then after a lengthy discussion, they would help us at total cost to us. It was decided the company would send out a technician (paid for by us!) After that, we were told the motherboard was ordered (backordered) and we waited. 8 months later waiting patiently to hear back from them as we waited for the part we decided to check in and follow up. We were told the part hadn't been ordered and they would contact us within the next 24 hours, calling a couple of days later we found out the actual service request was closed (unknown to us) and the person on the phone didn't know what happened. I understand the buyer beware but if you have a defective product you NEED to personally ensure the item is destroyed. You have a responsibility to the consumer, obviously, a signed piece of paper doesn't work in these situations as we can see.

This is my third Jenn Air in the same location in the kitchen, in forty years. My husband took nearly four days to install it. (My husband is quite capable) We cut a third hole in the floor. Why did the design not take that into consideration? I have a glass top but would have preferred electric coils as I can quite a bit. The glass top is slow to heat and slow to cool. The previous range had two timers and a clock. This has one timer that uses the clock space when in use. The most frustrating thing though is the dials. The marks are quite small, and the HI/Lo marks are quite small also. I finally put a red sticker by the HI side. Since the dual burner is quite different than the others that is also confusing. I like the large window in the oven and the light works quite well. The oven appears to be true to temperature.

When I first saw the Euro-Style 30" Slide-In Gas Range, I was astonished by its perfect design. The super large oven; the quality grates, knobs, and electronics; the ingenious warming drawer (I think of it as a pizza oven) and the steam clean feature. The extremely flexible btu design of the burners and the ignition system are perfect for every cooking adventure, and I am an avid cook. After reading reviews and negative comments about so many other stoves, I knew exactly what to watch out for and what features I wanted. It even came with a conversion kit to convert it to propane. Even the instruction book is well worded and thorough; superior to any I have used.
Now, after using this model, I am a devoted Jennair happy client. I don't know how they could improve on this stove and I hope it lasts forever.

We recently selected Jenn Air appliances for our new kitchen remodel. Rep from PC Richards mentioned only dishwasher available was on “pre order” but he truly believed it would be available for ship with a coy pale weeks- month at most. We agreed. All appliances arrived with a week or two except for dishwasher. We have been waiting two months. P.C. Richards called Jen Air Rep & we called Jenn Air ourselves. Jen Air could not provide any projected date that dishwasher may be ready. I explained we do not have a dishwasher which is much needed with our family. Jen Air rep was rude, unapologetic and offered no soloution. No time frame. When I asked if it would take 6 months , 9 or more? Give me anything. Jen Air rep wouldn’t answer. All varieties of Jenn Air dishwashers are not available, all currently on “pre order” she explained. I would have easily purchased Thermador if I knew this. Disappointed with brand and haven’t even started using it. I might return it all.

Hello All,
Wanted to share my disappointment in the Jennaire Appliances I have purchased .... especially the oven and dishwasher
The interior finish of the oven never comes perfectly clean and the finish has developed some white spots on the black finish... I have followed the manufacturers instructions each and every time. However seems to get worse each time on the cleaning cycle. The dishwasher doesn't clean / dry the dishes like what one would expect from a Jennaire product, Frankly by 10 year old Kitchenaid Superba Dishwasher works better than my Jennaire dishwasher. Would not recommend these products.

I'm a professional chef and wanted to remodel our home kitchen. We decided to go with Jenn-air for all appliances. 48" range with griddle, 30" wall oven, built in fridge, dish washer, hood and beverage coolers. It's been almost a year now and all appliances have performed perfectly! We could not be happier! Obsidian fridge interior is slick and the ice maker is maker than anything I've ever used in home. Range gives me almost commercial heat and ovens are perfect. Best home appliances by far!

I am a chef and own three restaurants of my own and when i decided to remodel my home kitchen i looked to Jenn air. The way the appliances were able to be integrated into the custom cabinets was exactly what i was looking for. The are so easy to use, efficient and really make the kitchen! I don't know who loves the kitchen more me or the dogs ;)

I remodeled my kitchen with all Jenn-Air products. Partly because my kitchen had older appliances from the company and partly because they had a promotional offer. I was happy with the products, but receiving my rebate was a nightmare and I finally just gave up. I found out that Jenn-Air uses an outside service to fulfill their rebates. The company is really bad and made an otherwise good experience into one that I will never forget. I'll never buy a Jenn-Air product again

I wanted to weep when the appliances were delivered. They seriously make me want to cook all the time. My induction cook top boils water in like a minute and the ovens are like a user friendly piece of art. Stunning, just stunning.
