Robin did a phenomenal job on our cottage. She knew everything was about the view facing the lake and she incorporated that so that every space in the cottage had an amazing view. She was easily accessible, a great sounding board with building questions and was always timely with any changes that needed to be made. We got very lucky in finding Robin and would highly recommend her to anyone no matter how big or small the project!

Robin was the architect we hired to create the plans for a 2200 sq. ft. single story house. We were not looking for a typical three-bedroom ranch and Robin took plenty of time to meet with us and design a house that we would really like. The home has now been framed and the roof shingles are going on as I am writing this. The house is exactly what we had asked for. The build is very robust and it looks to me like a very strong structure. It is a craftsman-style design with a walk-out basement. As of this time, I am very pleased with Robin's design capabilities and would recommend her without hesitation. John Williams

My wife and I inherited a very difficult design project. A 200-year old farmhouse with a 100-year old farmhouse tacked onto it. Both uninhabitable, but with lots of potential, on a piece of land that both of us intended to stay on for good. Loving things old, but feeling comfortable in the modern world, we wanted to rebuild in a way that preserved of the old structure and footprint what could be preserved, and to design and build what was new along the lines of a traditional farmhouse aesthetic. We also had a definite vision of how we lived, and planned to live, in and with the space. After meeting with several architects to discuss the project, Robin came out to the site to consult. We both knew almost instantly that Robin was our architect. She took our preliminary drawings seriously, asked all the right questions, listened patiently and responsively, and most importantly, seemed genuinely interested in using her talents and training to bring our ideas into being. We called her immediately and hired her to design our old-new home. Through every step of the process, we were happy we did. Robin has a deep love for, and immense knowledge of, the architectural tradition, and she brings to her work not only a sharp eye for design possibilities, but also a rare willingness to see such possibilities where others might perceive only problems. She worked patiently with us (not around us) through every single one of our concerns, down to the smallest of details, and she worked and reworked her plans with the confidence that there existed somewhere in the process a solution that would make us happy. She was right. She delivered us a plan for a house that we are not only excited to build and live in, but one that we feel will add something of lasting beauty to the built world and to our community long after we have passed on.

Robin worked very patiently with us on a conceptual design, adapting it to our needs and made it a reality! Robin was very responsive throughout the project, and was always willing to work with us and address changes and site specific requirements of the contractor. Currently under construction and taking shape!

Robin did a fantastic job designing my screened in porch addition. She really listened to my ideas and wish list for the room. We spent time looking at picture on pinterest and other sites to get an idea of what I liked and didn't like and then designed the perfect room to fit my needs. When I changed the plans for the addition after our initial consultation she worked with me to modify the plans to meet my new needs.

I really enjoyed working with Robin and highly recommend her. I contacted her after seeing her info on Houzz. We met at my house and she got a feel for what I was trying to accomplish with my house. I had three projects for her: the front of my house, the kitchen and the family room. All three were stuck in a ‘60s rut. The front porch of my 1910 house had been enclosed some time in the ‘60s and was in desperate need of sprucing up. The kitchen and family room had also been redone in the ‘60s and were dark and dreary. Robin listened to me as we discussed ideas for redesigning the front of the house. Prior to meeting with me she had driven around my neighborhood to get a feel for the village I live in. Shortly after we met she presented several design plans. I was floored. She came up with designs that I never would have imagined. I selected one and the front porch and house facade were changed giving my house a much improved look. To this day, when I turn the corner to my street, I feel such a sense of pride in how nice my house looks. I also asked her to help pick a color to paint my house. It was a color I wouldn’t have thought of, but I love it and I wouldn’t want it to be any other color. I also love my kitchen and family room, which Robin also designed. The number of compliments and positive comments I have received from neighbors and relatives also makes me feel good. Robin is a very professional and friendly person. I always enjoyed talking with her. I hope to hire her again as I continue to improve other rooms in my house.

A few years ago, I hired Robin to help me with a roof design of a porch addition. Her advice and design direction was so helpful. After that I referred her to some friends who wanted to redesign the interior/exterior of their home. She started off by presenting pencil sketch concepts. One of her designs fixed every single issue of the second floor layout and dramatically improved the exterior façade. In my latest project, she reconfigured a multi-level roof redesign to accommodate a screen porch, new bathroom and new windows. She is creative, responsive and fantastic to work with. I highly recommend her.

I am the owner of a Salon, Spa, and Laser Center and Robin did a great job designing my new location. I truly loved everything that she had done and I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a reliable and honest architect!

My wife and I interviewed several architects before choosing Robin. She listened carefully to what we thought we wanted and guided us through several ideas to arrive at a great building within our budget. Robin is reponds quickly to questions and issues and created sketches and plans very quickly. Our building contractor is also able to work well with her which smooths out the whole experience. Robin presented us with several ideas we hadn't thought of that showed she was tuned in to what what we wanted. No pictures to share yet as we are in the first phase of construction, lining up subcontractors. We will work with Robin again on our next project.

We hired RWHargrave to design the interior of a 5000 square foot steel building. Robin worked with us to design the perfect layout and came up with creative solutions to our design problems. Throughout the process, Robin listened to our opinions and design concerns, was professional and positive, and fun to work with. We would definitely hire her again!

Robin was wonderful to work with. Creative, original, timely and respectful of our desires. If we didn't like suggestions, she moved on, not pressuring us to use her ideas. Her engineering background was also very helpful.

Robin provided complete, specific architectural blueprints in a timely manner for our garage project. She was professional at all times and clear about her cost structure. She provided colored drawings and advised us on manufacturers. She gave us three recommendations for contractors she had used.
