DESIGN STARTS WITH YOU Since 2008 Imprint Architecture and Design has been building, creating, imagining and reimagining spaces. We work hard to design spaces that we love, and more importantly that you love too. We are devoted to each individual project listening to your ideas and collaborating closely together to create a space specifically tailored to you. Our experience and project types include new construction and remodels, single family homes to multifamily buildings, commercial renovations and landscape design. What imprint would you like to make? We hired Sara to do an extensive, whole house remodel. There were a number of challenges in the design, as we had a limited budget, needed to stay within the existing footprint, and wanted to modernize and open the 1950’s-built house. Sara was amazing. Her designs were creative and yet highly practical. She guided us throughout the construction process and provided support when frankly; some of challenges of remodeling would have otherwise driven us crazy. In addition, Sara has an excellent eye for finishes, and pointed us toward lighting; tile and color options that suited both us and the overall feel for the house. I cannot recommend Sara highly enough. She is a consummate professional and a pleasure to work with.

In August we purchased a small cabin on a beautiful lake (Shell Lake) in Wisconsin.The cabin was original construction from 1946 with little natural light and obstructed lake views. We asked Sara to renovate the cabin on its original footprint while still trying to keep its North Woods charm. What a change! Sarah opened up the entire lake side of the cabin to provide wonderful views of the lake. She expanded the living room into a little used porch area designed with a 12 foot French sliding door providing access to the patio and lake. She also moved the kitchen from the back of the cabin to the lakeside so now we can cook and entertain while looking out at the lake. Now we have lots of natural light and lake views! Sara is very professional, easy to work with and listens to your ideas so they can be incorporated into the design. We are excited to be starting renovation in January!
