John helped turn our dream of a porch and mudroom into a reality. His attention to detail, creativity, oversite and coordination with our builder was impeccable. He helped us walk though the entire process with care and concern like it was his own home. The builders told us they love working with John because his drawings were accurate and very easy to use at the same time. If we ever do another project he will be our first call - he should be yours.

John helped us with a garage/cabin addition at our lake home. John helped with site selection, design, and material selection for a 30x40 garage with living space above. John provided guidance on everything from insulation and radiant heating to exterior colors. In our project, John helped integrate the design of the new building with the existing structure and the other features of the property. We appreciated John's ability to interpreting our thoughts, listen to and balance our different ideas and translate them to an excellent design. John was also good at telling us when he agreed with our thinking - or when he disagreed with us and thought we were missing something. Thanks to his insight, we sited the new building in a completely different way than we were originally thinking. The end result is perfect.

Working with JKA architect was a true pleasure. John always tries to understand his client's vision and passion and convey that in his plan. His attention to detail was great and always had time for us. We could not be happier with our project as the end result is better than we imagined.
