Kurt seemed really easy going and trustworthy during my project, which was paused for a few months due to waiting on funds. I requested a partial refund of my retainer, but he ghosted me after sending less than the expected refund, and provided no deliverables for the work he billed me for. I followed up several times, at minimum to obtain the work he completed, but I never heard back. I have two projects in limbo right now, and will be looking for a new architect.

Kurt is an absolute pleasure to work with. He always comes prepared to meetings whether it's a first encounter with a client or finalizing some details at the end of a project. The degree of professionalism Kurt displays is hard to replicate and most importantly, he is consistent at it. Over the many projects we've had the pleasure of collaborating on, he has always been accommodating and easy to work with. I've always appreciated his genuine love for architecture and design, and his work definitely showcases that.

My husband and I hired Kurt Krueger Architects in 2016 for design services for the remodel of our new home in San Diego. The remodel took about six months and throughout the process Kurt and his team worked incredibly hard to create what our family and friends call an amazing home. We of course like to agree. A friends sibling came over for a party we threw and the first words out of her mouth were, "I had to see this house that I've heard so much about." From top to bottom Kurt and his team handled everything from design to coordination with our general contractor, structural engineer, electrician, plumber and all of the finish trades. The drawings and plans that came from his office received many compliments from the trades who received them. Kurt was part of the project every step of the way coming in to town for meetings even when we didn't want to inconvenience him. Kurt's innovative ideas and attention to detail resulted in a design not often seen in San Diego. Our city is made up of many track homes including ours. Though what Kurt and his team gave us makes us feel that our home is special and it makes us feel at home to be here. Many Thanks to Kurt, Dexter and the Kurt Krueger Architect's team! Kurt is very professional and hands-on. Always responsive and detail oriented. Still working on our project, but so far so good.

I was not only satisfied but felt completely taken care of in the design and construction of my condo. I had a vision and it was carried out beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend Kurt as well as be privileged if I'm ever in a position to use him again. He procured numerous items and designs I would have never found or considered and they turned out perfect. Even down to helping me pick paint colors! They got the most compliments afterward. Most importantly was the time, care and consideration I felt through the whole process. I hired Kurt to do a complete re-hab on our mid century modern home in Brentwood. He did an amazing job in keeping with the original architects intent and work but also bringing his own new style. He tied in an amazing cantilevered guest house into the main house and made the whole thing look seamless and beautiful. He has a great eye for detail and is also a pleasure to work with
