Locus Design came highly recommended and they exceeded my expectations. They are innovative, creative, reliable and professional. Lorraine of Locus Design created drawings of a home renovation for my 100+ year old home. She listened and drew plans that were exactly like I had envisioned, plus added some things I had not even thought of that helped with the flow and function of the additions. The design kept the integrity of the older home but yet modernized it so that it is functional and appealing. I highly recommend Locus Design for any type of home project that you may have .

When we approached Locus Design+Consulting, we knew we wanted to remodel our home but had no idea where to begin. After meeting with Lorraine, she made the process very easy. We brainstormed ideas which Lorraine very easily turned it into reality. She guided us through the entire process of hiring the contractor, helping up make decisions about products, she visited the site multiple times. I was very comfortable that we were in great hands! We have had multiple neighbors drive by and rave about the remodel. We are thrilled with Locus Design + Consulting and highly recommend them.

My husband and I employed Locus Designs in July of 2011. At that time we needed assistance in designing a roof structure to replace our present low pitched, multiple gabled roof. Lorraine provided us with architectural designs and bids to accomplish this project. We had several meetings with Lorraine that were both professional and efficient. She receives our highest praise for both her ability as an architect and professionalism.

We hired Lorraine Cunanan of Locus Design to design two projects that added style, value and beauty to our home. Our experience with her was 100% positive, and in fact she literally saved our first project She came in in the middle of construction on a pool deck for a long swim spa that we were overseeing ourselves with the aid of a construction company. It was going badly, and another professional recommended Locus Design. She designed a beautiful and useful addition to our outdoor living space that not only made the most of the area available, but looked absolutely right and in context with the existing structures. As a result, our home is more functional, enjoyable, and valuable than it was before her work. We were so pleased with our initial experience that we asked her to design a portico for our house. Again, her design was beautiful and functional, and after it was completed we cannot imagine how we lived without it. The house looks exactly right, finally! Lorraine Cunanan was very clear about the financial aspects of the contract, she delivered preliminary sketches and working drawings on time or earlier than promised, she followed through with our builder and was helpful and available for any and all questions. Her fees were reasonable; and in fact her advice saved us money on more than one occasion. She is both professional and friendly, and it seems almost magical to us that she can take a pencil and create designs that look and work even better in real life than they do on paper.

Loraine Cunanan did an excellent job on the planning of our unique house. She took great pains to take our ideas and crude drawings and create a beautiful result. She worked well with the builder and followed up on the work. In fact, this was an Earth Craft house in every aspect of the words. We would recommend her work to anyone wanting a unique and one of a kind house.
